Bag Compression Sealer
Bag Compression Sealer
What does the Bag Compression Sealer (BCS) do? The BCS squeezes the free oxygen out of pre-filled bags of fresh-cut produce and then hermetically seals the bag. What types of products is the BCS used for? All types of fresh-cut leafy vegetables such as iceberg and romaine lettuce, cabbage, peppers, onions, carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. It can also be used for any type of product that has similar sealing requirements. The compression plates and sealer controls are fully adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of product densities and bag thicknesses. Is the BCS portable? Yes, it’s very portable. The entire unit is mounted on lockable casters and the sealer head is interchangeable and easily detached from the compression unit, allowing for ease of maintenance and minimal down time. Is the BCS safe to operate? Absolutely! The sealer will not operate unless both palm buttons are depressed at the same time, making it virtually impossible to get your hands caught in the sealer jaws. Once the sealer function has finished, the compression unit opens automatically to release the bag. Why choose the BCS over standard vacuum sealers? Most produce films are designed to breathe, therefore pulling a vacuum is an unnecessary step that is time consuming and increases equipment costs. The BCS quickly removes the free oxygen in the bag and produces a pillow pack by compressing the package from front to back. Priced at just $12,650, the BCS costs less than a vacuum sealer and has a faster cycle time.
Rotary Pack Table
Rotary Pack Table
What does the Rotary Pack Table do? The Rotary Pack Table is used to gently, quickly and efficiently fill various size cups and trays with from one to five different pre-cut fruit and vegetable products. What fruits and vegetables is it used for? All types, including but not limited to broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, etc. What kind of material is it made out of? The Rotary Pack Table is made out of stainless steel and UHMW components. It’s designed to be washed down and is equipped with a variable speed controller. Is it portable or stationary? It can be stationary or mounted on casters for versatility. Is it easy to clean and maintain? Yes Are parts readily available? Yes Any other information about the product not covered above? This is a simple yet inexpensive way of improving productivity for a labor-intensive task. Because the system is running at a constant, predetermined speed, accurate, predictable labor costs are easily achieved.
Bulk Bin Feeder
Bulk Bin Feeder
What does the Bulk Bin Feeder do? The Bulk Bin Feeder is used to store product and gently discharge that product at a controlled rate for packaging, mixing or further processing. It can be programmed to discharge a batch into a tote (as pictured) or feed at a steady rate onto another piece of equipment. It’s equipped with a Nema 4X electrical panel with controls to adjust time and amplitude of vibration. What types of products is the Bulk Bin Feeder used for? Snack foods: popcorn, chips, nuts, candy, etc. Fresh-cut vegetables such as shredded carrots and cabbage for salad mixes. All types of IQF products for blends. Other products such as pet foods, ingredients, bakery mixes, coffee, cereal, plastic beads, etc. What kind of material is it made out of? The storage bin itself is constructed out of food grade, chemical resistant polyethylene; the frame is made out of stainless steel. It’s designed to be easily washed down and is extremely easy to maintain. Is it portable or stationary? Very portable; the bins can be easily lifted off and are interchangeable with any frame, which is mounted on casters for versatility.
